Hello! I’m Kelsey Taylor—a Full-time Mom turned Analytics Engineer with a passion for both data and empowering others.
My journey into the world of programming began in November 2021 when I took the 8-Week Tech-Moms course. That experience ignited my love for coding and set me on a path that led to web development, where I created personal sites and a website for a small-business client.
Soon, Data Analytics caught my attention. I was honored to receive the Women in Engineering Scholarship to attend Devmountain’s Full-time 16-Week Programming & Data Analytics Bootcamp, graduating in December 2022. Currently, I work as an Analytics Engineer at Health Catalyst, where I thrive on making data-driven decisions and crafting stunning analytics visualizations. SQL, Tableau, and Power BI are my go-to tools for creating insightful and beautiful reports.
I’m also excited to share that I’ve joined Tech-Moms as a Teaching Assistant for their new Tech-Moms 2.0 Data Analytics course. This role allows me to combine my love for data with my deep passion for helping women upskill and advance their careers in the data field. It’s incredibly rewarding to support and guide others as they embark on their own tech journeys.
